Andy Carter MP at Warrington Bus Depot

Since before being elected, Andy Carter has been asking the Government for additional funding to improve transport connectivity to make it easier to get around Warrington - today we’ve had more success with confirmation of £120million to be spent here in Warrington.

This is on top of £33million to fix potholes across Warrington and close on £40million for a new zero emission bus fleet and Bus Service Improvement Plan which reduces fares and improves the frequency of services.

The hard work is paying off but there’s lots to do, including resolving the repairs to the Swing Bridges and tackling some of the junctions which make journeys more difficult.
